Going through a separation or divorce can have a devastating effect on any family, particularly for the children involved.
However, research has shown that those who parent together can have a significant improvement on the impact on their children.
Children in Focus is a six week training course aimed at separated parents, exploring the issues surrounding this very difficult time.
Working in partnership with the Centre for Separated Families based in York and their book “Putting Children First” and supported by the Parenting Fund, this toolkit will help parents deal with the other parent of your children on a day to day basis for the benefit of your child.
The course is delivered in a practical and experiential way and is based on groups, with each parent attending a different group.
