Thanks to funding from the Big Lottery we are pleased to announce one of our newest Getaway Girls projects which we are calling CHOICES.
The main aim of the project is to offer long term accredited self development programmes, empowering young women to increase their confidence and self esteem so that they can find the inner strength needed to gain new skills and knowledge.
We aim to encourage and support them to raise their aspirations and make positive life choices, thereby, engaging/re- engaging into mainstream services such as Volunteering, Education, Training or Employment.

We are able to provide this service to groups of up to 8 Young Women aged 16-19 years not already in education, training, and employment or volunteering and 14-16 years at risk of or already excluded from school.
We have started by working with the Users Forum and have just come second in a national competition support by Barclays Bank which entailed a visit to Downing Street. (See information in link About us, Users Forum) for more details.
