We have a strong community involvement record and have always encouraged and supported volunteers from the wider community and specifically from our client group.

We can offer different types of volunteering opportunities from working with our groups to being involved on the Management Committee.  We have been very fortunate to have worked with many committed and enthusiastic volunteers over the years and their input is greatly valued.

We can also offer placements to schools and colleges or those young people somewhere in between!

We like to feel that our volunteers are fully involved in the work we do with young people from designing to evaluating the programmes of work we carry out.

As a voluntary organisation Getaway Girls is committed to the management of our work through a committee of volunteers with appropriate skills and interest in work with young women.  We are keen to recruit new members on to our management committee to ensure it remains representative and productive in its management of our work.

We are also keen to recruit members on to our board of directors for our new social enterprise Zone 67 which is a non for profit trading arm developed to generate unrestricted income to help sustain the Charities objectives through a variety of training packages.
